Company Profile History Core Team	AMITABH SONTHALIA Amitabh is the Founding Director and Chief Investment Officer at SKS. He started his career as a Research Analyst with the Federal Reserve Bank in the US after graduating from Davidson College, NC in 1991 with a B.A. in Economics (Magna Cum Laude). After a year, he moved back to Kolkata and joined his family’s stockbroking business. Amitabh gained valuable experience in these early years as the Indian economy and capital markets were going through a strong wave of reforms in the 1990s. He established close business relations with some of the top most names amongst institutional, corporate, and ultra high net worth individual investors in India and overseas. In 2006, Amitabh completed his Executive MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business in Singapore. Prior to starting the PMS division at SKS, Amitabh was responsible for spearheading the company's Equity Research Division. MURTUZA ROHAWALA Murtuza is the Chief Operating Officer - PMS Division. He has over 8 years of experience across Investment Banking, Equity Research and Commercial Banking. Prior to joining SKS Group, Murtuza has worked with ENAM Securities, Morgan Stanley, Axis Bank and ING. With a strong background in financial & capital markets, business analysis and client relationship management, he has been instrumental in setting up operations, designing robust operations systems and building a strong client engagement team. RAHUL SONY Rahul is a Senior Analyst - Equity Research. He brings with him rich experience of over 7 years in equity research. He has worked with Lohia Securities and Baljit Securities before joining the research team at SKS Capital. His key strengths lies in financial analysis, geared towards coming up with deep value stocks and leading a team of erudite research analysts. Rahul has a strong base in business analysis and a sound understanding of several industrial sectors, which enable him to identify and evaluate investment opportunities. He has 5 years of experience in equity research. Prior to SKS, he was associated with Global Strategy & Investment Consulting and Amba Research, where he worked extensively on financial modelling, writing sector reports, working on feasibility and market study for international clients. DEEPAK MEHTA Deepak is the Vice President – Client Relationship and Dealing. He has over 2 decades of rich experience in capital market operations, business development and key client account management. Prior to joining SKS, he was with VCK Share Broking. He has been a derivatives trader for about 11 years. At SKS, he is instrumental in identifying trading opportunities across both cash and derivatives market. At SKS, he has handled several roles in two stints spanning over 10 years, including client relations, setting up and handling back office operations, regulatory and compliance matters.
